The new wedding arch in the Hemingway Home gardens. A
live stephanotis vine has been planted to grow over the arch and it will
become fuller as time goes on.
The stephanotis vine is known historically as the "Key West Wedding
Vine." A tradition brought to the Keys by Navy personnel who had previously
served in Hawaii where the groom wears a vine rather than a lei.
